Yancey/Mitchell counties Landowner Event
Saturday April 12th
10AM-1PM
Do you live on or own property in Yancey and Mitchell counties that have forests damaged by Hurricane Helene? This event will have local agencies, non-profits and businesses available to answer questions and share information about what you can do to make your forests healthier and offset the costs of forest management.

EcoForester of the Year and Root Cause Awards
Each year, EcoForesters hosts their annual event to honor leaders in conservation and forestry. Our past recipients have included the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians, Warren Wilson College, and author Doug Tallamy among others. Come join us to celebrate a year of EcoForestry and honor our leaders in conservation and sustainable forestry.
